Sodium hydroxide is one of the basic chemicals of chemistry. Sodium Hydroxide (sequin - flake, bead - pearl, liquid liquid) is divided into three forms. Sodium hydroxide in liquid form is generally present in clear color at concentrations in summer (46% - 48%) and in winter (32%). Solid sodium hydroxide (98%, 99%) is present in concentration and white. Sodium hydroxide, the strongest base, has a pH of 14. Dangerous for human health. Use appropriate work clothes during use. The commonly known name of sodium hydroxide is caustic. Sodium hydroxide; sodium, hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Sodium hydroxide is formulated with the chemical formula NaOH. It has a wide range of applications from paper industry to metal processing in many industries. It is a very consumed chemical because it is a very strong base. Different forms of liquid forms are available on the market (32% and 48%). The most commonly used liquid sodium hydroxide in summer is 48%. Because of winter freezing problems, lower solutions (32%) are preferred.


Sodium Hydroxide Production
Sodium hydroxide is produced by electrolysis of sodium chloride. Naturally not found in nature. Sodium hydroxide is not a known chemical since ancient times and was found in the 1800s.

There are 3 kinds of electrolysis method;

a- Diaphragm Cell

b- Membrane Cell

c -Civa Cell

Because sodium hydroxide is a key chemical in its use, it has a wide range of applications and is suitable for many industries.
